Thank you for your continued participation and support of the ASCE Central Jersey Branch. Because
of your involvement, our program continues to be strong in promoting the advancement of our
profession in a manner that is consistent with the objectives of the American Society of Civil Engineers
and the New Jersey Section. It is truly an honor to serve you!
Over the summer months the board and I have been hard at work preparing the branch's 2009-2010
program. As with any year, our goal is to produce a program that has an assortment of technical
lectures and events that educates our membership, promotes the Civil Engineering profession,
identifies industry trends, and perhaps includes a little bit of fun. We are also very aware of the need
for continuing education credit for many of the professional engineers within our region. The board and
I are committed to making continuing education credit available to our membership. Last year our
program provided 13 PDHs of continuing education credit.
The board and I are proud of the ASCE CJB's 2009-2010 program. It includes our signature-events
including the Technical Seminar and Annual Awards Dinner as well as our technical lectures, many if
not all will be NYSPIE certified for continuing education.
Typically the monthly meeting announcements will be provided via e-mail. If youd like to be added to
our e-mail listing or would like further information on our program, please contact our Branch
Secretary, Vijay Puppala at PuppalaV@pbworld.com or at (609) 734-7000.I look forward to this year's program and seeing you at our upcoming events. Once again thank you for
your support of the Central Jersey Branch!
Sincerely,
American Society of Civil Engineers - Central Jersey Branch
