Hard Hat Tour at CIEST CU Boulder
The Denver Branch will be teaming up with the Center for Infrastructure Energy and Space Testing (CIEST) at CU Boulder for an exciting tour of their structures, materials, and centrifuge laboratories! This tour will be held on Friday, April 13 from 3:30pm-5-30pm and will include a demonstration of dynamic loading on critical structures AND we'll also get to spin up their 400 g-ton centrifuge to 100G's or more!
Stick around after the tour to attend a presentation from Dr. Jorge Meneses of the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI). Dr. Meneses is an expert in geotechnical and earthquake engineering, president and Founder of the EERI San Diego Chapter, and is a Fellow of the ASCE.
