The Texas Section invites members to attend the 2017 Texas Infrastructure Report release on Wednesday, September 20th during the Texas Civil Engineering Conference (CECON). To learn more and register for CECON Click Here. After the announcement Texas Section will post the Report Card on line at www.TexASCE.org/irc.
Using a simple A to F school report card format, Texas Section members graded current infrastructure statewide using seven criteria: capacity, condition, funding, future need, operation and maintenance, public safety, and resilience.
The Report Card’s goal is to create public support for Texas’s infrastructure investment. Much like the 2012 Report Card, the Section expects this Report Card will provide policymakers solid recommendations for improving the State’s degrading infrastructure.
Please plan to attend the CECON Release to show you support infrastructure improvements! If you’d like further information please contact Glenn Celerier at 817-247-8158.
