Hurricane Harvey: Water Resources Policy, Disaster Resilience and Engineering Ethics

BG(R) Galloway will present discuss his recent experience in the response to and follow up on Hurricanes Harvey. He will focus on the water resources policy and management that shaped the conditions before the storm, the resilience of the flood management system during the storm and the recovery and rebuilding efforts that are ongoing following the storm. In addition, BG(R) Galloway will intertwine a discussion of how engineering ethics influence actions under disaster conditions.
