Welcome to the Western Branch of the North Carolina Section Website. We are a small, but active, branch serving 20 counties in Western North Carolina. We alternate between lunch and dinner meeting times for our monthly meeting, but the meeting is always on the third Thursday of the month.

We provide excellent programs of local interest and a great opportunity to socialize with other civil engineers. We provide Professional Development Hour certificates for appropriate program. Everyone is welcome to our meetings, even if you are not a member of ASCE.

Annual Conference
The NC and SC Section will have a joint Fall Meeting September 11-12, 2008, at the Mariott Executive Park in Charlotte, NC. Registration information here...

Deadline for reserving a room at the
conference rate is August 20th. Early conference registration deadline has been extended to August 27th.

This event will provide seminars, a field trip, plus lunch on Friday, September 12.  Participants may earn a maximum of 10.5 PDHs, including 3 PDHs during field trip.
