Upcoming Events

Welcome to the Western Branch of the North Carolina Section Website. We are a small, but active, branch serving 20 counties in Western North Carolina. We alternate between lunch and dinner meeting times for our monthly meeting, but the meeting is always on the third Thursday of the month.

We provide excellent programs of local interest and a great opportunity to socialize with other civil engineers. We provide Professional Development Hour certificates for appropriate program. Everyone is welcome to our meetings, even if you are not a member of ASCE.

November Meeting
Join us Thursday, November 19 for our monthly lunch meeting at Asiana (Hendersonville Road). 

Matt Wallace (MACTEC) and Kate O’Hara, Senior Brownfields Planner, with Land-of-Sky Regional Council will be presenting on Engineering and Environmental Aspects of Brownfields, including local programs to assist in funding redevelopment.
