On Tuesday November 27, 2007 , Steve Lacz, Northern Branch Representative, had the privilege of talking to 80 kindergartners, at Greensboro Academy in Greensboro . The four classes were instructed about tools and measurement as part of their science studies. The ASCE Section along with Universal Studios and Scholastic Books has teamed up on the Curious George - Let’s Build program to develop educational materials that introduce engineering design concepts to students in grades Kindergarten-1st.
