Jennifer Smith, P.W.S.: TRC Companies Inc.

Mrs. Smith has over 17 years of experience with environmental permitting and managing of utility customers. Her qualifications include extensive hands-on planning, field crew and consultant training, field investigation and construction management, design, permitting, cost estimating, and project management. Jennifer Smith's background includes extensive service to private-sector clients such as Florida Power & Light Company (FPL), FiberNet (Crown Castle) and NextEra. She has successfully represented projects in Florida requiring Section 404 Clean Water Act and Section 10 Rivers and Harbors Act coordination with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE). In addition, she has coordinated with the South Florida, Southwest Florida, and St. John's River Water Management Districts (SFWMD, SWFWMD, and SJRWMD), as well as the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on state environmental resource permits. Mrs. Smith has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Florida, a Master's in Business Degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and is considered a Professional Wetland Scientist by the Society of Wetland Scientists.

 

Lisa Walker, P.W.S: TRC Companies Inc.

Ms. Walker is a Senior Project Manager and Professional Wetland Scientist with over 20 years in the environmental consulting industry. Ms. Walker's technical expertise is in ecology. She has extensive experience managing large multidisciplinary projects including simple and combined cycle natural gas power plant projects; renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, biomass) generation facilities; large interstate pipeline projects; other linear utilities; and a variety of other development activities. Her project experience spans 22 states throughout the U.S. and she has testified as an expert in several licensing hearings
