Title: Belt Line Green Infrastructure Project: A New Approach to Green Infrastructure

Memphis plans to issue its first ever Environmental Impact Bond to finance improvements for the Belt Line neighborhood. A suite of projects is being developed to address identified flooding issues in the neighborhood while simultaneously piloting several water quality Best Management Practices (BMP's). The stated goal is to, in the end, have a result where the "benefits of the whole are greater than the sum of the parts".
