Project Description: The area along the eastern shore of the Wolf River Harbor has drastically changed over the past. From being the City's first wharf to the location of the Bass Pro Pyramid and where Interstate 40 crosses the Mississippi River. This presentation will deal with some of the history behind the area including when portions of the area were likely raised above the 100-year floodplain, a floodwall was erected by the USACE, the Pyramid was constructed, drainage issues were discovered, and what the City has done/is doing to alleviate the issue.
