Wayne Nolde will be giving us a guided / historical tour

Here is the GPS address for the East Entrance to the tunnel:

Lunch sandwiches will be set up and ready by 11:45 am.  The hike/tour will start at 12 pm. Please be sure to bring a flashlight if you have one.  If you have a spare to lend out, that would be great also.  Please bring water for the hike if you think you will want/need it. The trail will likely be a little muddy in places so dress/plan accordingly. The temperature in the tunnel is 55 degrees so dress/plan accordingly.

The total length of the hike will be close to 4 miles (for those who want to do the whole hike). The hike is an "out-and-back" so anyone can turn around at any time.  (I for one will need to leave by 1:15 for a prior commitment).

Hard hats will be available for those who want to wear them.
