2024.9.24 - Staunton VDOT Presentation about I-81 Pavement Recycling Project
On Tuesday September 24th, our monthly technical meeting will be at the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Staunton District Office for a 12pm lunch and learn. Plenty of free parking is available. The Staunton VDOT address is 811 Commerce Drive, Staunton, VA 24401.
After a free lunch, we'll hear from our guest speaker this month, Mr. Chaz Weaver, PE, CPEM, F.ASCE from the VDOT Staunton District Office. Mr. Weaver has been the Staunton VDOT District Materials Engineer for nearly 20 years. His presentation is entitled "I-81 Pavement Recycling Project". By attending this presentation, Professional Engineers can earn 1.0 hour of a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) towards their license renewal. For additional reference, Mr. Weaver's bio and presentation abstract is shared via email and available upon request.
The original event, Crutchfield Factory near the Airport, which is hosted by Bill Crutchfield, is moved to a later date. Bill will be giving a presentation and tour of his facility.
