On Tuesday September 24th, our monthly technical meeting will be at the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Staunton District Office for a 12pm lunch and learn. Twenty two branch members attended this event.
After a free lunch, we heard from our guest speaker this month, Mr. Chaz Weaver, PE, CPEM, F.ASCE from the VDOT Staunton District Office. Mr. Weaver has been the Staunton VDOT District Materials Engineer for nearly 20 years. His presentation is entitled "I-81 Pavement Recycling Project". By attending this presentation, Professional Engineers could earn 1.0 hour of a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) towards their license renewal.
