Jessica Bruso is the Green Infrastructure BMP Specialist covering Florida. Jessica obtained her Master’s degree in Biology from Florida Atlantic University. She taught college biology, anatomy & physiology, and environmental science classes for over a decade. After a volunteer role as the Chair of the Sustainability Committee for the City of Cocoa Beach, she entered the stormwater world as the Stormwater Utility Manager for the City of Cocoa Beach. She started working for Ferguson Waterworks in 2022 to expand her reach and to help implement green stormwater infrastructure projects across Florida. Jessica serves on the education committee for the Florida Stormwater Association. She lives in Cocoa Beach with her twin boys and two cats. She is passionate about the environment, enjoys the outdoors, and is on an outrigger canoe team.
