John is a technical resource engineer/specialist with Rinker in their precast stormwater facility. John is currently our Events Chair & Hard hat tour chair for our Denver Branch. Prior to arriving in Denver, John spent his first few years working for Milwaukee & RYOBI tools in the New Orleans metro where he is from & was privileged to be part of the innovation of the battery-operated lawn mower movement. John moved to Denver in early 2022 after Hurricane Ida and chose Denver as his future home. He is also a military veteran in the U.S. Army Reserves. In John’s current role, he is responsible for working with public works, CDOT, engineers, & contractors in various ways like giving plant tours, lunch & learns, design tips, projects, EPD’s, manufacturing, & engineering solutions. He is actively part of ASCE Denver, CAGE, & NUCA organizations to give back to the Colorado community. In his spare time, John is an avid rock climber, winter sports enthusiast, white water rafter, and enjoys hiking and exploring Colorado with his spouse and their white lab, Goose.
