Liz Staten is one of the Region 7 Governors from Colorado. She has been active in Colorado ASCE and the Southern Colorado Branch which was created in 2004, and serving in leadership roles since 2009. Liz has been serving as a Governor since 2019. Liz grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated from the University of New Mexico, and recently completed a Masters degree specializing in Water Resources through the University of Colorado. Liz is approaching 25 years of engineering experience and specializes as a Transportation Hydraulics engineer and Project Manager. Liz’s work covers a wide variety of projects from Channel Stabilization to Bridge Replacements.
