Tanmay grew up in Gwalior, India, and moved to the United States in 2014 to pursue his bachelor's in civil engineering at Valparaiso University, Indiana. After graduation, he started his career as a field and material testing engineer and later worked as an associate civil engineer. Tanmay then moved to Urbana-Champaign to pursue his master's in Construction Management and Infrastructure design at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign (UIUC) and graduated in 2021. After completing his master's, Tanmay joined Kiewit as a Civil/Roadway Engineer. He currently serves as a deputy team lead on some of the massive infrastructure projects Kiewit is pursuing or actively building. In his spare time, Tanmay likes to be outdoors, cooking and having a good time with family, friends, and colleagues.
