Join us December 17th for lunch and a presentation on Denver Water’s Gross Reservoir project, presented by Jeff Martin, Program Manager, Denver Water.  

The Gross Reservoir Expansion Project, one part of Denver Water’s “all of the above approach,” will provide greater water security to the Front Range; reduce vulnerability in the face of climate change-driven disasters, such as droughts, floods and fire; and ensure flexibility by addressing the imbalance across Denver Water’s North and South systems, allowing the utility to provide water from multiple sources when needed.  The project is currently raising the height of the existing dam by 131 feet. This will almost triple Gross Reservoir’s capacity, from approximately 42,000 acre-feet to 119,000 acre-feet.
