Andrew is a civil/structural engineer with Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. (WJE) in their Lakewood, CO office; his area of focus is concrete materials and concrete structures in the transportation and infrastructure industry. Prior to WJE, he worked for the Kansas DOT for nearly 6 years within their Research division with a focus on concrete materials and extending the service life of pavements and bridges. He was born and raised in Denver and graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Civil Engineering-Structural. Throughout his career, he has been involved in ASCE to varying degrees starting with multiple officer positions, including Student Chapter President, while at Mines. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children fostering their interest in all things outdoors as well all things animals.
