Speaker:  Jeremy Ross, Chief Operating Officer of ETSU

Jeremy Ross has served at ETSU for 17 years in numerous capacities including Vice President for University Advancement, Executive Director for the ETSU Research Foundation, Vice President for Administration, Chief of Staff and numerous other appointments. Currently he is serving as the Chief Operating Officer for the University and in this role, he provides leadership and support for the administrative and operational functions at the university, including Facility Design and Construction, Public Safety, Human Resources, Master Planning, Athletics, and administrative coordination with the Tennessee Higher Education Commission and the State Building Commission.

Prior to his current role, Jeremy served as a principal in an architectural firm and directed design, budgeting, and personnel management for work in over twenty states. He also serves as an Assistant Professor in Engineering Technology. In his faculty role, he teaches courses in engineering, construction management, planning, and architectural history. In 2009, he initiated the ETSU at Rome Program, and he continues to teach and research in Rome, Italy every summer.
