This month we will hear from JJ Van Dyke with Hazen and Sawyer. He will focus on the improvements to the Central Wastewater Treatment Plan, part of the Clean Water Nashville Program, with an investment of nearly $400 million. With a capacity of 440 million gallons per day, this facility will meet the projected growth demands of Nashville’s growing population! The plant is located on Third Avenue North in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood. JJ will focus on a variety of topics ranging from drivers for the project, overcoming challenges, the Headworks equipment, a design overview, and construction lessons learned.
