Reading Branch Board of Directors - Call for Volunteers:

 

Hello ASCE Reading Branch Members:

Since the Reading Branch was transferred to the Lehigh Valley Section in 2017, the Branch has been working hard on becoming more active and provide to our approximately 170 members technical programming and events that will be of interest as well as provide PDH’s for those who are licensed professionals in order form them to meet the professional development licensing renewal requirements set forth by the Pennsylvania Professional Licensing Board.

I am writing to you to inform you that the Reading Branch will be seeking to positions on our Board of Directors. The Branch Board currently has eight members, four officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary) and four Directors. Officers and Directors serve two-year terms. ASCE 2021 Report Card for America's Infrastructure

ASCE's Committee on Infrastructure has released the 2021 Report Card. The report card grades 17 different categories of infrastructure including, but not limited to, Aviation, Bridges, Dams and Transit. A new category, Stormwater has been included in this edition.

ASCE 2022 Pennsylvania Report Card

The Pennsylvania State Council released the 2022 Report Card for Pennsylvania's Infrastructure. The report provided grades across 15 categories with an overall grade of a "C-".
