About the Presentation:

Cava Robles RV Resort is a 332-site resort, complete with numerous amenities nestled among the rolling oak-studded hills of Paso Robles.  Situated south of the Huerhuero Creek and north of State Route 46, the location was perfectly suited for ease of access and connection to public utility infrastructure. The idea of developing an RV resort on this property was originally envisioned in 2006, with project approvals granted by the City in 2009. The 80-acre parcel was thoughtfully designed to provide ease of circulation, spacious RV sites, preserve the shape of undulating terrain, and leave 30 acres of open space as a natural amenity for resort guests.  Construction was completed in a single phase, with a gradual opening of sites and amenities as blocks were completed, beginning in May of 2018.

Presenters will discuss the complicated entitlement process, the permitting process through City of Paso Robles and the State Housing & Community Development department, as well as the value engineering efforts, neighborhood involvement, construction, and project close-out.
