The Southwest Branch and Wisconsin Section of ASCE are excited to announce our Keynote Speakers for this year’s Spring Technical Conference on April 18th in Madison!

Don’t miss Jeff Russell, Vice Provost of Lifelong Learning and Dean of the Division of Continuing Studies, and Michael Mucha, Professional Engineer and Envision Sustainability Professional at the Madison Metropolitan Sewer District, as they present "Professional Ethics: Where Sustainability and Practice Meet."

Come help us with the scoring of MathCounts tests and/or proctoring (basically just handing out and picking up tests and walking around the room during tests to keep everyone honest). We generally have time between grading tests to socialize and can even test out our own math skills, trying to answer the test questions ourselves.

 For those who are unfamiliar with MathCounts, this is a Math based competition series held in all 50 states for students in middle school. Local schools bring teams to compete both as a team and individually, with the hopes to move on to the state competition and then nationals, where they compete for college scholarships.

We need to be at Kromrey Middle School by 8:45am on Saturday Feb 8th. Morning beverages and snacks will be provided. We should be done prior to lunch, so we can head somewhere near by and grab a bite to eat together.

Please let us know ASAP if you can make it. (The event organizer is hoping for numbers by Monday Jan. 20th.)
