19th Annual Student Scholarship Competition
To support civil engineering students who have demonstrated an interest in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the advancement of the civil engineering profession.
Student scholarships in the amount of $1,500.00 will be awarded to the winning student(s) at the Annual ASCE Southeast Michigan Branch Student Career Fair, which will take place Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Wayne State University. Winner is chosen based on the applicant's specific Civil Engineering involvement, goals, job skills, academic record, and response to the essay. The award will be made payable to the student’s University for payment toward tuition fees
All undergraduate students who will be enrolled in the 2019 Fall Term at any of the below-listed schools:
- University of Detroit Mercy
- Wayne State University
- University of Windsor
- Lawrence Technological University
- Michigan State University
- University of Michigan
- Michigan Technological University
Students working with co-op programs during the 2019 Fall Term are also eligible.
Applicants must be registered ASCE student members by Fall 2019.
