Joe Wagner, P.E, BCNE, BCEE will discuss the North Carolina State Ports Authority and their innovative dredging methodologies, and how these approaches relate to major initiatives such as the Port of Wilmington Deepening and the work at Morehead City’s Radio Island.
Joe Wagner, P.E, BCNE, BCEE is an accomplished professional coastal and dredging engineer, board-certified environmental engineer, and biologist with extensive experience across all facets of sediment management and dredging. Joe has led and supported efforts ranging from long-range dredged material management planning and economic evaluations to the design of upland containment facilities, dredging management plans, and the evaluation of alternative dredging technologies. Joe is a passionate advocate for nature-based solutions and climate adaptation strategies that enhance coastal resilience and deliver sustainable, practical outcomes.
