Program: WILMINGTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Description: The Wilmington International Airport serves southeastern North Carolina with commercial air service on American, Avelo, Delta, and United.  These air carriers provide nonstop service to twelve markets, connecting travelers to over 360 destinations.  Avelo Airlines, ILM's newest carrier is set to begin nonstop service to New Haven, CT, Orlando, FL, and Baltimore Washington, DC June 30th and July 1st, respectively.  Earlier this year, United launched nonstop service to Newark airport, American increased nonstop service to Boston on a daily seasonal service and resumed seasonal service to Chicago, and Delta announced an increase to daily seasonal service to LaGuardia.  In May, ILM set a record for the number of enplanements at ILM.  The NCDOT Division of Aviation's 2020 report estimated ILM's economic impact at $2.25 billion and 16,385 jobs.  For more information on ILM, please visit flyILM.com.

Granseur Dick, P.E., C.M.- Wilmington International Airport Deputy Director

Granseur joined the ILM team in 2017 and managed airport capital improvement projects, capital grants and oversaw strategic planning of airport development. He has been heavily involved with the design and construction of ILM's $75M terminal expansion as well as other key projects including the airport's ramp expansion, airfield drainage and master planning projects. 

Prior to joining ILM, Granseur was an engineer for land development and utility consulting firms in central and southeastern NC and holds a professional engineering (PE) license. He is also a Certified Member (CM) of the American Association of Airport Executives.  

He earned a BSCE from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2004) and is scheduled to graduate in December with an MBA in Aviation from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

 A private pilot since 2010, he has enjoyed merging one of his passions with his profession and looks forward to a long career in aviation management. When not working, he enjoys fishing, surfing, and boating with his wife Shannon, and three teenage children.
