Jade Flansburg is a Transportation Hydraulics EIT with HDR in Fort Collins, Colorado. She joined HDR in April of 2024, bringing experience from her previous role as a Water Resources Engineer at Impact7G, Inc. in Iowa City, Iowa. Jade holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa, along with an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification. 

In her role at HDR, Jade applies her expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to address flood risks, erosion control, and sustainable water management solutions. Her technical skills include Autodesk Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, and ArcGIS Pro, which she leverages to deliver impactful and efficient water resource designs. 

Beyond her professional work, Jade serves as the Education and Student Affairs Committee Chair on the executive committee for the American Society of Civil Engineers - Northern Colorado Branch, where she supports educational initiatives and promotes professional growth for emerging engineers.
