Kevin Lock, P.E., is a Senior Project Manager at Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District ("Northern Water"), focusing on the design, construction, and implementation of major water infrastructure in Northern Colorado. His projects include Glade Reservoir and the Northern Integrated Supply Project (NISP), the Colorado River Connectivity Channel (CRCC), and Chimney Hollow Reservoir. He is focused on ensuring dam safety and the development of regional water supplies, playing roles in project engineering, construction execution and management.
Prior to joining Northern Water in 2017, Kevin worked as a Geotechnical Engineer for InTerraLogic, Hatch, and Alexco Environmental Group. His career has focused on geotechnical engineering, heavy civil design, and construction.
In these positions, he had assignments in the field and in the office, ranging from onsite investigation, construction management, survey, and soils testing to pipeline and pump designs, slope stability modeling, report and permit writing, heap leach modeling, water balance modeling.
Kevin graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Geological / Geophysical Engineering in 2010. He now volunteers with ASCE and Diamond Peaks backcountry Ski Patrol.
