Erick Berry is a Traffic Engineer with Ayres Associates, based in Fort Collins, Colorado. He joined Ayres in 2022, bringing with him valuable experience from his prior role as a consultant in the Phoenix Metro area of Arizona. Erick holds Professional Engineer (PE) licenses in Colorado, Wyoming, and Arizona. He is also a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE), as well as a Registered Safety Professional 1 (RSP1).

In his role as a Traffic Engineer, Erick is dedicated to ensuring safe and efficient transportation infrastructure for all modes of travel. His expertise includes delivering comprehensive transportation analysis and planning studies, such as traffic impact studies, traffic signal optimization studies, intersection control evaluations studies, corridor alternative studies, and safety studies. Additionally, Erick is proficient in delivering final design plans for signing and pavement marking, traffic signals, roadway lighting, construction zone maintenance of traffic, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) for various road types, including freeways, highways, arterials, collectors, and local roadways.

Erick graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S.E. in Civil Engineering from Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU) in May, 2017. He furthered his education while working full-time, earning a M.S. in Civil, Environmental, and Sustainable Engineering from ASU in December 2019. Erick is an active member of the Northern Colorado Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), as well as the Colorado/Wyoming Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE).
