Project Build
Saturday, November 18, 2017 - 14:00 to Wednesday, January 24, 2018 - 17:00
Project Build is a program ASCE Northern Colorado Branch is involved in to pilot a Building Using an Interactive Learning Design program. Partnering with the High Plains Library District and the Space Science institute the goal of the program is to engage underserved audiences, build capacity of libraries and volunteers to do engineering outreach programs, and increase interest and engagement in STEM activities for youth grades 2-5 and their families.

The events have been super-fun, and the kids have been successful in building structures that don't blow over, as well as water filters using sand, gravel, coconut fiber, charcoal and other materials!

We are among the first pilot programs going on through this program and we are excited to hold monthly engineering activities to promote engineering and science!

Speaker(s)

Members of the Northern Colorado ASCE and staff from the Greeley High Plains LIbrary lead the events.  You can just show up!
