December Luncheon at Fogo de Chao

Our December Luncheon was a big success, with over 40 members and guests coming together for an afternoon of good food, networking, and celebration. Everyone enjoyed the meal and had a chance to look back on the year’s achievements. A highlight was our Toys for Tots drive. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we filled a van with toys to help make the holidays brighter for local children. The event showed our branch’s commitment to both professional growth and giving back to the community.

Bridge Design Boundaries Panel

The ASCE Structural Engineering Institute (SEI), led by Annemarie Matungwa from AtkinsRealis, hosted a lively discussion with geotechnical and structural engineers about their roles in a typical bridge design project. The panel included Mir Zaheer, Athar Khan, and Pete White from INDOT, and Burleigh Law from HNTB. Amy Huebschman from AtkinsRealis served as moderator.

SEI is planning a site visit to the Henry St. Bridge project. We’ll share more details soon.
