April Jackson Engineering Meeting (JEM)

Please join us for our re-inaugural Jackson Engineering Meetings (JEM).
UT MTAS has teamed with ASCE, TSPE and West TN STEM to offer free lunchtime engineering presentations in the Jackson, TN area. Please attend to help make it successful and to learn about interesting engineering advances. A certificate of attendance will be furnished. The presentation will start at noon and should be done by 1:00 PM.
This one-hour presentation will cover new technologies for stabilizing slopes, channels, and subgrades, while effectively managing stormwater quality and quantity in highly erodible soils. It will feature technologies such as geosynthetic cementitious composite mats, high-performance woven geotextiles, passive groundwater infiltration systems, and batch detention, along with real-world case studies.
