You are cordially invited to the ASCE West TN March Branch Meeting, which will be held in-person on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023, from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Chris Acuff, Vice Present of Construction with Allworld Project Management, and Mikal Stevenson, Project Manager with Allworld Project Management, will be presenting on the Tom Lee Park Redevelopment project.

Chris Acuff

 

As V.P. of Construction Services, Chris provides executive level leadership to the AWPM Construction Services team. In this role, Chris leads a team of project management experts who provide Program Management and Owners Representation Services to the Development Industry.. Prior to taking over this role Chris served as Director of Development for Valor Hospitality Partners where he led all hotel and F&B development efforts across the U.S.

 

Prior to joining Valor, Chris served as Director of Development for Kemmons Wilson Companies where he was responsible for daily operations of all KW real estate activities including hospitality, multi-family, and commercial developments. Chris played a vital role on the development team for the award-winning Crosstown Concourse project, a $200 million, 1.5 million square foot, vertical urban village tagged as the largest historic adaptive reuse LEED platinum project in the world.

 

With over 25 years in the construction and real estate development disciplines, Chris is an industry leader in Owner’s Representation and Program Management, providing direct oversight of design teams, consultants and general contractors. His background provides a vast understanding of on-site project management as well as pre-development/pre-construction, estimating and design processes. Chris’ experience uniquely positions him to lead developments from conceptual design to successful project completion.

 

Chris is a native Memphian and graduate of the University of Memphis and Union University.

 

Mikal Stevenson

 

Mr. Stevenson has 10 years of architectural experience and 5 years of construction management experience. He started off his architectural career with Self Tucker Architects as a Project Coordinator for 5 years. Worked on notable projects like the Memphis International Airport Garage and Transportation Center, Memphis Shelby County Schools, and Big River Crossing. Then he took a position at HBG Design and worked on Casinos and Hospitality projects before coming to Allworld Project Management. 



At Allworld Project Management Mr. Stevenson is currently an Associate Project Manager in the Construction Services division. He served as the Owners Rep for the construction of Memphis Shelby County School’s Alcy Elementary School, which was one of only two twenty first century schools built in the state of Tennessee at that time. Since the completion of Alcy Elementary he has been working as the Owners Rep and assisting in the management of the redevelopment of Tom Lee Park. Tom Lee Park redevelopment is a 50-million-dollar project expected to be completed this year.
