We hold Branch meetings October through May, generally on the 2nd Thursday of the month.  Meetings are not (usually!) held from June through September. 

The Northern Colorado Branch is part of the Colorado Section.  Other branches are Denver, Southern Colorado, Southwest Colorado, and Western Slope

Board meetings are at 4:30 pm prior to the Branch Meeting at the same venue.  If you are interested in serving on the board, we would love to have you!

Summit Water Engineers, Inc. (Summit) is seeking a full-time entry level Water rights/ Water Resources Engineer to support our growing water resources business in Longmont, CO.  We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a passion for water resources, a desire to develop as a professional, and the following skills and qualifications:

  • BS or MS in civil or agricultural engineering, hydrology, hydrogeology, water resources, or related field.
  • 0 to 4 years of experience with water resources, water rights, hydrology and/or hydraulics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ArcGIS, MODFLOW, AutoCAD, and/or database software a plus
  • Registration as E.I.T. and plans to pursue licensure as a professional engineer.
